Smooth Coat Rendering

A refined, contemporary finish

Smooth coat rendering is the finish of choice for homeowners after a clean, contemporary look rather than a textured surface. It's applied and finished to a level, uniform surface that catches the light evenly across the whole wall, which is part of why it's become so popular on newer builds and renovations alike.

Why it works

• A flawless, even surface with no visible texture
• Enhances the clean lines of contemporary architecture
• Provides the same protective, weather-resistant barrier as textured renders
• Can be finished in a wide range of colours

Getting a level finish

A smooth coat finish shows up any inconsistency in the wall underneath more than a textured render would, so preparation and a steady hand during application really matter here. We take the time to get the basecoat right before the final smooth coat goes on.
